Why Changing Tables?
No easy way to change adults on the go
Over 61 million U.S. adults live with disabilities and many rely on caregivers, yet public restrooms only offer baby-sized changing stations.
With no safe options for larger individuals, caregivers are left to improvise in cars, use the floor, or avoid outings altogether.
Exorbitant industry costs
Because special-needs equipment is so expensive, families often have to wait to see if insurance will approve it.
If costs aren’t covered, they end up relying on generic equipment not made for special-needs care.
"Portable" doesn't really mean portable
At-home changing tables are great but aren’t portable, and many “portable” ones are still too bulky or impractical for families on the go; especially those with mobility challenges.
